SERGEANT JAY RUFF RETIRES!!!
On September 1, 2017, Sergeant Jay Ruff worked his last shift, signing off the radio for the last time at 3pm. "Uncle" Jay worked for the Borough of Alburtis Police Department for 43 years serving the police department, borough, and his country with honor, pride, and loyalty. We wish "Uncle" Jay the best of luck in his retirement years.
On Thursday August 31, 2017 a retirement party was held at Lehigh Lodge in Lower Macungie Township for Sergeant Ruff. Sergeant Ruff received numerous citations from government officials and a crystal plaque from the Alburtis Police Department recognizing him for his dedicated service.
