The Borough of Alburtis Police Department was sorry to see three part-time police officers leave in 2021. Ryan Geist resigned in February to take a full time position as a police officer out of the county. Alex Smith resigned effective July 1st, he is employed as a full time police officer out of the county. Troy Leonard resigned effective August 1 to take a full time position as a police officer. The department wishes all three the best of luck with their new endeavors in law enforcement.
